Bouncing Screen - Redrawing ?

When I am replacing colors in a pattern in order to reduce the number of colors in the palette – I have the 'highlight current color' and 'freeze highlighted color' checked off.
Every time I use the eyedropper (color chooser) to choose the adjacent square of color, the screen goes blank and then comes back. I believe this is the screen 'redrawing' but it is really annoying and it is really time consuming.

Is there an option to stop the screen from doing this ?

I agree, if you have the freeze highlight then there should be no need to redraw the design screen as the eyedropper will not change it. There will be a new update shortly so I will look into changing this.

That would be fantastic. It will cut my time spent considerably and really enhance my enjoyment of the program. It will make a huge difference for me.
