Manual won't open

Hi!

I can't for the life of me figure out how to open the manual. There used to be a link from some menu (I believe it was "index" under the "help" menu)---but when I click that, nothing happens. Also, when I click "What's new" and the links to "since manual v 1" etc., nothing happens.

I tried to by-pass this problem by going directly to the files via file explorer. Unfortunately, I'm only able to access the "what's new since" files (there are three). When I try to open the original manual, it won't let me open the PDF file---it is asking me for a password!

Can you tell me how to open up the manual? What is the password?

Okay, so I managed to figure out the problem, I believe. It appears that the manual actually *was* opening---but into an extremely minimized window at the very bottom left of my screen. The window was only about 1/4 inch by 1 1/2 inches wide, and only consisted of the Windows frame with a title bar and Minimize and Maximize buttons.

So, no worries, it was total operator error, as is often the problem with silly things like this!
