Covid19 and deliveries

I hope everyone is staying safe in these difficult times.

DP Software is operating almost as normal. Deliveries of physical products are still available but there may be a change to the delivery method. Most companies are no longer needing signatures and the products supplied from the UK will fit through a standard letterbox.

For UK delivery, we may use regular 1st class mail (not signed for) or DPD (who are not currently needing signatures). For overseas, it will depend on the price and service offered in each country but only companies that can collect from us will be used. Since collections often have to be booked early in the day, your orders may not leave until next day.

The same applies to Amazon.co.uk orders despatched by DP Software - the usual signed for service is not being used as it requires us to visit a post office.

If you are sending stuff to DP Software, please DO NOT use special delivery. If you want to track it has arrived, you can use "signed for" which will be signed by the delivery person after speaking to me from a distance.

Note that all our software is new and has never been out to another customer.

If you want to be extra safe, why not purchase for download. All downloaded files can be copied to your own USB device for backup. The full manual is included as a pdf file. Link to download shop:

Currently the UK physical product shop will only be selling new complete software packages and upgrades to the Publisher version. All lower priced products are only available as downloads. Shipping is currently free worldwide and will be with a courier that can collect from us. Please check that your country is accepting international mail. Packages shipped to countries not accepting mail may be held up in the UK.

Most collections have to be booked early in the morning or even the day before so your order may not go out on the first business day.

A UVC disinfection lamp is being used on items before assembly but please note we cannot do this on the active surface of a CD as it may be damaged. USB versions are available of all products or you can quarantine the CD for a few days on arrival.


Orders for lower priced products already placed are not affected.

Orders made on Amazon.co.uk for fulfilment by DP Software continue to have postage charged as normal but the shipping service will be upgraded. Dispatch times should be within Amazon estimates and orders will be marked dispatched when a collection is booked. Collection will take place same or next day with delivery the next day in most cases. This is often ahead of the Amazon delivery estimate.

A number of steps have been taken to ensure continued operation throughout these difficult times including installation of power storage which will shortly be backed up with off grid solar panels.
