Mail filters

Postby DPSoftware » Thu Jul 09, 2009 12:16 pm

I recently discovered that putting links to exe files into mail sent to googlemail and gmail addresses causes the messages to be marked as phishing attacks and they are sent to the junk mail folder. So if you were expecting an email from me and you don't have it, please check your junk mail folders. I have a way around it now but their filters could be updated at any time.

There are still email blacklists that many service providers are using that block emails if they come from a server with an IP address that is close to but not exactly the same as one that is sending spam. If you were expecting a reply, don't have one and its not in your junkmail folder then please post in the technical support forum here. If its something that can't be posted here then just post that you are not getting replies and I will email you from a different server.
