Mac and M1 processors

Postby DPSoftware » Mon May 30, 2022 11:27 am

The most recent Mac Plus version when updating through the software is the Intel based Mac version. This will also run on Apple M1 processors using Apples Rosetta interpreter but the mouse update rate is not quite as fast.

For an Apple M1 only version that does not need Rosetta, go to the update website for Plus versions and download the version that only runs on the new Apple processors.

(requires software registration - and an update subscription if more than a year from purchase)

I hope to have the universal versions back later but there are currently problems producing them.

The Mac publisher version is currently only available in the Intel version and will run under Rosetta on non-Intel Macs. There is still some more work to be done with the headers and footers before an M1 version can be released.
