Issues on chart key

I have two issues when trying to print a chart:

1. With Superkey, the thread count is still appearing in 'wingdings' font and is incomplete. I mentioned this before but updating my operating system and the software hasn't fixed this.

2. Where I'm backstitching in 2 threads on certain parts of the design and have set the threads accordingly, the key on print preview still only shows backstitch in one thread.

You would need to remove the current Superkey template from your design in order for the program to use the latest one supplied with any update. Go to Print or Export dialog, then Key tab and then click the remove template button.

If you are using your own template, email a design that is using it so I can check for problems.

The standard Superkey template does not have a column in the thread tables for number of strands so it will only show the default strand setting as a line of text above the table. This is the same with the Windows version. I will have a Mac version of the Superkey template with strands columns in the next few days. It will be done at the same time as the 64-bit software version.

I have had the 64-bit version for a while but was under non-disclosure agreement with the compiler manufacturer while beta testing the compiler. It is now on public release and I just have to wait for them to fix the downloads so I can install the release version and produce cross stitch professional in 64-bit. This should remove the warnings from OS X about non-optimised software and ensure compatibility with Catalina (the next version of OS X). I am hoping this is resolved on Monday ready for a Tuesday release. Unfortunately it is not allowed to release software made with the beta even though it does work fine.

The 64-bit version is now available. Check for updates from Help menu.

To show strands in the key, go to Key tab of print or export dialog and click change template. Then click the file open icon and choose "Strands.rtf". Click OK to exit the template editor.

Save the design when you are finished printing/exporting so the template is kept in the design.

To return to the original template, open the default.rtf or nostrands.rtf files.
