extra stitches

Hi I'm trying to convert a jpeg image into a cross stitch pattern, however i'm left with edges of varying shades of pink or blue also in block areas i get dots of odd colours too
I tried reducing the colours but it doesn't make any difference is there something i can do or do i physically have to change these by hand
Also i was wondering if there is a discount to the plus version of this programme with having the platinum one

Try turning off the "use dithering" option. This will no try to smooth things out by using patterns of stitches that average out to the required colour over an area.

You can upgrade to the Plus version - the unlock code you get will check you have the standard version installed first:
